The Bird 43 wattmeter is a reliable and portable insertion-type instrument that has been tested in the field. Its purpose is to measure both forward and reflected CW power in coaxial transmission lines, regardless of the load conditions. This instrument has a full-scale accuracy of ±5%, which makes it a precise tool for measuring RF power with low added VSWR and insertion loss. The QC (quick change) type connectors and a range of plug-in elements offer a wide selection of frequency ranges and power levels, giving the Model 43 an impressive level of flexibility.
