The SENTRY Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) combines the core features of conventional CVFDRs with an innovative design approach. Employing a patent-pending memory insulation technique, the SENTRY achieves a compact size, lighter weight, and lower power consumption than traditional CVFDRs, all within a modular and adaptable architecture. This “software-free” recorder supports customized configurations for specific aircraft and offers creative, functional expansion capabilities.
Made from titanium, the SENTRY fully meets or exceeds ED-112A standards and complies with DO-160G environmental and power requirements. Its durable enclosure is ideal for challenging airborne environments, including use in unmanned, commercial, military, fixed-wing, and rotary-wing aircraft.
