The SENTRY Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) merges the standard features of conventional CVRs with an innovative design approach. Utilizing a patent-pending memory insulation technique, the SENTRY is engineered for a compact size, lighter weight, and reduced power consumption compared to traditional CVFDRs, all within a modular and adaptable framework. This “software-free” recorder supports aircraft-specific configurations and offers the potential for creative and functional expansion options.
Encased in titanium, the SENTRY fully meets or exceeds ED-112A standards and is qualified under DO-160G for environmental and power specifications. Its durable design is ideal for challenging airborne environments, fitting seamlessly into unmanned, commercial, military, fixed-wing, and rotary-wing aircraft.
SENTRY includes a range of aircraft interfaces including:

The SENTRY’s capabilities are extended with acquisition functions developed for the FDS Modular Acquisition Unit (MAU), transforming the SENTRY into a comprehensive Data Acquisition and Crash Recorder System, along with additional advanced features.
